Come take a break with Wild Gather’s new program of workshops, and take time to be still, learn and take good care.

On Tuesday, 27 June, we have Tick Magic from 7-9pm. This is a free event in collaboration with Sarah Falkner Healing Arts. Tick Magic is a a gathering, a working, a container for facilitated collective magic. All folks are welcome no matter your personal histories or experience with tick-related illness or magic.

July will bring with it a range of hands-on, plant-based and community-focused workshops.

On Monday, July 3, Wild Gather will host a Making Baskets With Bark workshop. There is limited space available so RSVPs are important.

On Wednesday, July 5, we’ll also be getting sexy and healthy with local herbalist Myrto who will be faciliating an Herbal Lube + Sexual Health class. In this class you’ll learn about different herbs to use in making a water based lube, which can serve as an aphrodisiac, UTI/yeast preventive and support the overall health of your down there tissue states.

On Friday, July 21, Wild Gather will break down gender identity, expression and pronouns with Be a Better Neighbor: Gender 101. As a culture, we are taking major strides towards breaking down the gender binary, one bathroom at a time. While we are grateful for this cultural movement towards compassionate allyship for our queer and trans communities, we know that there is still a lot of work to be done on the ground. The workshop will provide tools towards creating safer spaces, gender literacy, and collective liberation for all. We encourage you to come with an open mind and open heart. No matter your experience or understanding of gender, you’re welcome here. This workshop is presented in collaboration with Rally in the Valley, a festival of art, education and action in support of Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood.

All workshops take place at Wild Gather’s headquarters, The Green Trailer.
