FARM + FLEA WAS A HIT!
Up to 3500 people came to the Basilica Hudson this Thanksgiving Day weekend – our largest attendance this season.
This incredible response makes it clear that there is a strong desire to showcase and celebrate the best of what the Hudson Valley has to offer: Farms, Food, Makers, Collectors and Strong Community. People came from all around, many first time visitors were greeted at the door. The positive response from all was overwhelming, this will certainly become a yearly event at Basilica Hudson
Meet our Hudson Collectors and Makers that made this weekend so special.
Thank you Bust Magazine, Modern Farmer Magazine, Green Mountain Energy, City of Hudson and Secret Weapon for sponsoring the event
All the great work by our organizers Elise McMahon, Lauren Giambrone, Tess Diamond, Maggie Carr of Bust and our small Basilica Hudson team made this weekend possible and the food by Nicole LoBue of Alimentary Kitchen made it delicious.
The music was thanks to Wet Spell featuring Pat Linnan, Jim Krewson and Sauerkraut Seth for performing on Saturday and Penn Sultan for performing on Sunday.
Hudson Valley’s Still the One Distillery provided Comb 9 / Jarhead Gin and to Harvest Sprits for the Cornelius Applejack for our Black Friday Soirée Kick-off event! Thank you Fish & Game and Lady Jayne’s Alchemy for designing the cocktails, and Alvaro of Truck Pizza for parking out front and serving the masses all weekend!
Happy holiday season and thank you for all of your support this past year, we look forward to sharing more with you next year.
