Basilica SoundScape’s entrance will host the Basilica Art Shop, selling handcrafted goods by a selection of Hudson-based artists and creators alongside festival merch and more.
Sacred Bones return to the West Wing, selling records (rare and otherwise), label merch and more. They will be joined by Hospital Recordings, the label of returning SoundScape artist Prurient.
Curators The Creative Independent will also be launching two new zine publications at the event; one focused on making a living as an artist, and the other focused on overcoming creative anxiety. A limited-edition run of each will be made available at Basilica SoundScape, for free, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Visitors will also be able to visit the SOIL X SLOW MONEY informational wall to learn more about Woody Tasch’s mission to create a new economic story and bringing our money back down to earth.
Basilica SoundScape curator Jenn Pelly and discerning NYC shop Book Row will assemble a selection of self-published books and zines.
Plus the LikeMindedObjects Airstream will return, headed up by artist Elise McMahon and offering a selection of hand-crafted goods by Hudson makers. Clothing, furniture, lighting, jewelry, animal hides, ceramics and found objects, made and collected by artists living within ten miles of the Basilica will be available all weekend long.
LikeMindedObjects is the project of local artist & designer Elise McMahon, who often channels her artistic practice into collaborative entrepreneurial projects.
