Listening Event with Kamau Patton
7PM | FREE | BASILICA HUDSON NORTH HALL
As Artist in Residence at Basilica through the NEA supported Hudson As Muse program, co-presented with Toolshed, Kamau Patton has developed an audio composition inspired by Basilica Hudson’s landscape. On Wednesday, June 9 at 7PM, he will present this work-in-progress as a communal listening activity in Basilica Hudson’s North Hall.
Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the piece and hear about Patton’s experience connecting with the Hudson community during his residency.
Edward Morris, longtime friend of Patton and co-founder of Toolshed, will introduce him. Come down to the factory for an evening of inspired and experiential art.
We ask that everyone maintain social distancing and wear their mask while indoors. Thank you for your consideration as we ease back into the world of in-person events.
