Join us for our inaugural Cider & Cheese Tasting and Market, celebrating the farmers and producers of the Hudson Valley. This special event featuring hard cider producers and cheese makers from across the Hudson Valley will serve as the kick off to Hudson Valley Cider Week, a multi-day celebration of regional craft cider. Over 20 craft cider makers and more than 10 artisanal cheese makers will sample and sell a variety of styles of hard cider and cheeses.

Why cider and cheese? Both are delicious, of course, but their affinity runs deeper than appeal. Cider and cheese enhance the value of the products grown by farmers, taking apples and milk and increasing their worth, thus strengthening the economic viability of the participating farms. Both cider and cheese are rich expressions of place—the earth where trees grow and dairy herds graze, and the sun, rain and wind that smile on it. And both use the power of fermentation to make complex flavors and textures from simple, raw materials.

About Tasting and Market

Tickets entitle attendees to sample 50+ hard ciders and 20+ cheeses, and food and beverages will also be available for purchase. Talbott & Arding Cheese and Provisions will sell sandwiches and other light fare that complements the cheese and hard cider sampled throughout the event, and Gaskins Restaurant will offer glasses of hard cider and soft drinks at the bar.
