TRAIN is the most fun way to travel to Hudson. Two hours from Penn Station, the train runs along the beautiful river, has a snack car. Basilica is conveniently located 400 feet south of the Hudson NY Amtrak station. However, the trains sell out quickly and get expensive as availability runs out, so you must book ASAP. Train tickets are 100% refundable — better to be safe than sorry –

Where should I stay? → CAMP at the Basilica SoundScape campground, offsite-yet-nearby at the beautiful Meadowgreens Campground in Ghent, NY with free shuttle service to and from Hudson!

Can I catch a cab? → There are a number of taxi services in Hudson, including Uber and Lyft. However, we suggest you call local cab firms early to make a reservation. As they typically don’t run after 9pm (with few exceptions) they are best for daytime pickups.

Is there an ATM on site? → The closest ATMs are at the Hudson Amtrak station (daytime), the Half Moon Bar (nighttime) and The Wick Hotel (24 hours), all a short walk up South Front Street.

Is Basilica handicap accessible? → Yes, Basilica includes ADA-accessible entrances, exits, and bathrooms.

Can I bring my dog? → No. Due to both Board of Health regulations regarding food and the sheer volume of this event, dogs (or pets of any kind) are not allowed. The only exception is service dogs.

Can I bring my kids? → There will be very loud music, adult content and late nights on Friday and Saturday nights. However, we leave this decision up to you. If you bring your kids to music shows, we suggest you get them sufficient ear protection. Keep in mind Sunday is going to be a great setting for an all-ages crowd with our free admission brunch and marketplace.
