// FREE //

We are pleased to be working with Art Omi once again to present a free afternoon of fully improvised music, performed by the 2018 Art Omi: Music residents.

Residents will perform “guerrilla” collaborations in groupings randomly selected by the audience. The improvisational evening offers the public an opportunity to experience the diverse backgrounds of the residents early in their residency and participate in the process of creative exploration, live.

Art Omi: Music invites twelve to fifteen musicians and composers from around the globe to come together for two and a half weeks each summer for a uniquely collaborative music making residency.

Art Omi: Music encourages its participants to share ideas, perform each other’s works, and write music for one another, while exploring their own musical vision and broadening their artistic and cultural horizons.
