Basilica Farm & Flea Spring Market 2018 will be held Saturday, May 12 – Sunday, May 13
Hudson, NY is positioned on a major thoroughfare between New York City, Montreal, and Boston, easily accessible via train or car. The striking waterfront location of this historic city serves as a gateway to riches of the Hudson Valley. Reflecting the historical and agricultural spirit of the Hudson Valley, Hudson is increasingly recognized as a destination for music, food, art, antique, vintage, and history enthusiasts.
A $5 entry fee covers admission for the entire weekend, and children under 12 are free of charge. By participating in Basilica Farm & Flea, vendors and attendees directly support Basilica Hudson’s mission to foster sustainable community. Proceeds from admissions and vendor fees support ongoing operations for the organization, and allows Basilica Hudson to continue to develop and present its programs.
Hudson is quickly gaining esteem as a community of creatives, who showcase the best of what the Hudson Valley has to offer, earning praise in American Craft Magazine as “a melting pot of the American maker movement” and embarking on a new 21st-century era of Manifest Destiny, mirroring the achievements and the aspirations of the Hudson River School artists who once flocked to these shores.
A wonderfully walkable city, filled with antique stores, vintage shops, specialty food stores, restaurants, coffee bars, sweet shops, cafes, bars, and more, visitors to Farm & Flea can explore all that Hudson has to offer!
