Hudson Waterfront: Public Space Ideas For The Future
6PM EDT | ZOOM
As part of our ongoing Conversation Series, Basilica Hudson invites you to join a public conversation on Zoom exploring Hudson-specific waterfront proposals developed during the past year by students from Pratt Institute’s School of Architecture and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation.
The proposals address topics such as net zero energy, landfills and ecologic regeneration, sustainable car-less cities, community land trusts and affordable housing, terraforming and new riverfront land, and public occupation of private land enabled through protected ecosystem status.
After the proposals, a Respondent Panel comprised of local community leaders will share their thoughts and field questions from the Zoom chat.
All are invited to join in this public conversation. Register above for reminders.
