KICK OFF: HUDSON VALLEY CLIMATE MARCH
SAT @ NOON, 7TH STREET PARK TO BASILICA

DRONE FOR THE PLANET!  The Hudson Valley Climate March kicks off 24-HOUR DRONE on Saturday, April 29, the only climate march in our region, in solidarity with events in our nation’s capital on the same day. Marchers will meet starting at 11am at the 7th Street Park on Upper Warren Street in Hudson, march will kick off at noon heading down Warren Street and South Front Street to Basilica. March with come to an end under Basilica’s solar panel array (behind Kite’s Nest building, by the Basilica Back Gallery entrance) for those who want to gather and exchange ideas. DRONE-y sounds — such as wordless voices, kazoos, recorders, flutes, portable keyboards, bag pipes — are encouraged, as is thematic dress. Think Climate, think Planet, think cosmic DRONE!

For DRONE ticket holders ready to dive into sound, 24-HOUR DRONE will also kick off at noon, on a slow build, preparing the space for climate marchers and droners alike.
