Basilica is a unique industrial setting. We recommend that you dress in layers and come prepared with: camping pads, water bottles, yoga mats, pillows, sleeping bags, and blankets. Dress in layers and bring endurance-enhancing snacks! Tents, pets, and outside beverages are NOT permitted.

Stay the night and come and go as you please — a wristband means re-entry.

New this year: STUFF CHECK area in our West Wing, which we encourage all DRONE attendees to use during Saturday’s daylight hours, to allow for folks to move more freely throughout the building. Don’t lie down and sleep your way through the day! Chill without your stuff and then bed down with the sun later in the evening.

//EVERYTHING ELSE YOU WILL NEED WILL BE HERE//

MARCH for the climate on Saturday at the stroke of noon — the start of the march at the 7th St Park on Warren — and wind up down at Basilica in time for DRONE.

FEAST on amazing food throughout the weekend, once again thanks to our Chef-in-Residence Nicole LoBue (inspired menu of Middle Eastern and Asian-inspired cuisine). Join us for Saturday lunch / dinner and Sunday breakfast / brunch (no ticket required – open to DRONE attendees and the general public!), plus late-nite snacks (including Gracie’s “Drone-uts”) and 24-hour coffee bar by Landscapes Cafe. Beer, wine and sake will be flowing from the bar.

SPY the aural hints of Quintron’s Weather Warlock (Upstate Edition), piped in straight from the permanent weather synth installation at Wave Farm in Acra, NY, to the mixing desk, to your ears, woven throughout the 24 hours.

WITNESS the first ever Endurance Reading of the Testimonials of Mother Ann Lee, presented by Shaker Museum | Mount Lebanon — stretching ten hours long on Saturday inside Basilica’s North Hall, and featuring dozens of writers, artists, community leaders taking their turn at the podium.

LOOK at a visual installation in our rafters by Trouble; the buzzing and whirring of the Unit 11 news van parked on site; and mathematical visuals by Charles G. Waldman.

CELEBRATE at the WGXC Record + Media Fair on Sunday, starting at 11am in Basilica’s Back Gallery and continuing once DRONE has finished, until deep into the afternoon, with DJs and cool stuff to buy… all for a good cause, to support the station!

24-HOUR DRONE will be broadcast in its entirety live on WGXC 90.7 FM and wgxc.org.
